One can rest in comfort within nostalgic dreams of the past, where the sun warms and never burns. When all is bright and cheery and comforting. But at some point, one has to wake up, return.
Or perhaps this is a place where you can stay forever.

Really good atmosphere! I really liked how Rue's whole situation unfolded, there's a lot of regret there that really resonates.
This was a really sweet read. ;-; But also man, the opening segments manage to convey a really horrible unsettling feeling too (good job).
